6th-Grade - Ms. Gaudry

Instructor: Ms. Gaudry

Welcome to the sixth grade!  I have been teaching sixth grade at Young Scholar's Academy since 2001.  I am very proud to say that I am a part of this wonderful school.  We have something truly special here at Young Scholar's Academy!  The parents, staff, and student all work together to create a rich learning environment for children. Please do not hesitate to contact me at school if you have any questions or concerns.

Report Card Time!
We will be ending grading for this first six week term on September 12th, next Friday. It is important that all corrections, extra credit, and absent work is in by that date. The report card will go home on September 19th. Please contact the office if your child has not given you a parent login page for our online grading system.

If you have any questions or concerns please call the office, 704-1100, to set up a time to conference.
Meet-The-Teacher Night
Sixth grade will be having their meet-the-teacher night August 7th at 6:00 p.m. All parents of sixth grade students are encouraged to attend. At this meeting we will go over the classroom syllabus, focusing on main points that parents of a sixth grade student should know. We will also discuss helpful hints to having a successful sixth grade year, or potential pitfalls to avoid. If you have questions or would like to discuss items in more detail we will be available after the meeting. Please keep in mind that we will not discuss confidential information while others are present so private conference times may be recommended. Thank you and hope to see you there.
